There is no bottom. Dead teachers and children murdered in their classroom. The assault on women’s health to save the unborn who, when they are old enough to go to school, will become less important than guns. I guess all that is important is the money flowing to our elected politicians. That is the priority. Tell the American public money is all you need to be safe and have a voice. We need to say the awful truth out loud, but I have little doubt it will do much of anything, if ever uttered.

If we flew the flag at half-mast for every victim of gun violence in our country, the American flag would still not be raised. I am in a numbed state of shock today. I usually get angry or upset, but today I feel nothing. It’s the state of hopelessness, when you know nothing will get done.  Every American hopes and prays this doesn’t happen in their backyard, but IT IS HAPPENING EVERYWHERE. You can’t hide. No one is coming to help. Right now all we can do is vote.

I fear for my family, friends and everyone who lives in the U.S. America is broken and it breaks my heart.
