I originally wanted to do a monthly get together with some good friends, good weed, good food and a great movie. I was excited to play projectionist at home & turning people on to some amazing films. So what happened? It all started to sound like a hassle. All those people at my place. My dope all smoked up. It was so perfect in my mind, it was bound to get ruined. But the name was too good to let go of, so I thought, why not a blog?

This Pink Floyd album is now 50. This was another one from my dead uncle’s collection and, man, it’s still some timeless shit. Designed to be listened all the way through. Smoke a joint and get to the stressed mellow vibe this band was so good at manifesting.
I lived around the corner from Glenn Danzig’s house a few years ago. Recently, I drove passed and it has not changed. Still dirty looking with fucked up askew blinds on the windows. I’m unsure if he remains lurking the halls of this abode.
On this evening, it was tradition in Detroit, Michigan to torch empty building and other mischief. Do not commit arson. The trick & treats will succumb to the flames. Sad pumpkin. Do listen to the Misfits.
When in a meditative state and I want music to inspire, but not distract, I look to Brian Eno. He has made three volumes of Music for Films. They bring the mellow vibe, making whatever you are doing satisfyingly cinematic. Listen to all three and become the main player in your life film.
