The Dune That Never Happened

Before Denis Villeneuve brought his Dune (Part I) to the big screen, there were a few other attempts. I personally have a soft spot for David Lynch’s version. He did his best, but it still came off as pretty cheesy.

One of the greatest science fiction books written is Dune by Frank Herbert. For many years, this books has passed through many talented hands who wanted to try and make it into a film of similar stature. Director & writer Alejandro Jodorowsky was in talks to make Dune and Pink Floyd was going to score the film. It would have been amazing and almost happened.
