Swinger Grows Up, Starts Prison Riot
I've written before about my soft spot for the prison film genre. This blanco exploitation film burns away the many terrible career decisions Vince Vaughn has made in the past few years. I welcome his latest hard guy roles with his turn in the True Detective universe and now this.
His character's dead eye determinism to do what needs to be done is both electric & terrifying. And if you are still not convinced this is going to be any fun, both Don Johnson and Udo Kier make unsettling appearances. Order some takeout, pop an edible or hit the joint/bong/pipe/vape and settle in for this 132 minute slow burn.
