Marijuana Movie - Phantasm

I have long been a bit intimidated by the iconic flying metal sphere, the Tall Man appearing & disappearing at will and being pursued down the marbled halls of a mausoleum. The was truly the stuff of nightmares and I never got around to watching this until very recently.

Phantasm was originally given an X-rating when it came out in 1979 (a testimony to how much horror films and times have changed) and has since garnered three sequels. I plan to see the rest of them. I don't care what the quality is like for the other films. Any movie that has the core premise of (SPOILER ALERT!) grave-robbers-reanimating-the-dead-so-they-can-shrink-them-down-and-transport-them-to-their-planet-in-another-dimension-to-work-as-slaves has my support.

This has been a Marijuana Movie Night for the last thirty-two years. Put it in the time capsule for future generations.
