Don't Fuck with The East

Eco-terroism is terrorism with the purpose of saving the planet. I admire the folks who have the balls to take on logging companies, chemical companies and the like in the name of saving our ravaged mother nature. They want to defend something beautiful that ultimately cannot protect itself from the destructive forces of "progress." Edward Abbey has been a great inspiration to many of these eco-warriors with his penning of the modern classic The Monkeywrench Gang. It's hard not to side with people trying to harm the industries which are trying to harm our planet for profit. I heard somewhere we only get one earth, at least until we have the technology to leave this place.

So what can you do to help? Well, you can become more of an activist for the environment or raise a kid who will figure out a way to build a FTL drive for space ships to transport us off the rock our planet may one day become or you can do what I do and smoke weed, watch movies and rage online. Yet,someone went one better and madeThe East for the sake of entertainment, art and possibly to make a point while raising some awareness. Revenge is also a great premise for a plot regardless. I'm looking forward to this.
